While still associated with the Drama League, Playwrights First were the first to recognize and give an award to Wit by Margaret Edson, which went on to win a Pulitzer Prize. Other semifinalists and finalists have proceeded to Broadway and Off-Broadway productions such as The Women of Lockerbie by Deborah Brevoort. |
